Do you recall? Last summer, Illinois was dealing with a string of strange murders. At each crime scene, the police discovered a drawing of a house, which turned out to be where the next murder would occur. However, the detectives were unable to identify the houses in time, and the killings continued, growing more brutal until someone recognized the latest drawing as the old Wilson farm in Monroe. As the story begins, a policewoman named Crawley is being questioned by an unseen authority figure. She attempts to recall the events at the Wilson farm. She recounts that she was patrolling the area and rushed there, hoping to learn what the owner knew and to evacuate him. Instead… what transpired was… if only she could remember…
