The Music Box

When six-year-old Sophie loses her parents, her distant aunt Annabelle becomes her guardian. They move into a large, spooky Victorian mansion where Sophie discovers a locked wooden box adorned with a mysterious symbol. Eager to bond with her niece, Annabelle forces the box open, revealing a stunning music box inside. Each time the music box is wound, its haunting melody plays a bit longer, drawing Sophie in further. As the music box starts to influence Sophie’s behavior and health, Annabelle turns to a child psychologist and a clairvoyant for help. They soon uncover that the music box is inhabited by a malevolent spirit intent on tormenting Sophie and destroying Annabelle. As the haunting grows more intense, Annabelle must race against time and the music box’s tune to vanquish the spirit before the final note sounds.
