In the Dark

On the way back from an art exhibition showcasing her creations, a gifted artist named Ali, along with her husband and their young child, are involved in a car crash. Tragically, her husband and child die instantly, while Ali survives but loses her vision. Following her doctor’s advice, Ali employs a caretaker named Jeff to assist her in adapting to life without sight. Once home, Jeff’s support becomes crucial in helping her adjust, and Ali soon forms a quick friendship with her new neighbor, Linda. However, it becomes clear that Jeff is growing increasingly possessive and envious of Ali. His fixation swiftly turns violent when Ali expresses her desire to become more independent and reduce his assistance. Predictably, Jeff does not respond well to this, and Ali must rely on her remaining senses to fight for her survival.
