While on their voyage, the team under the leadership of Captain Choi Do-hyung stumbles upon a diary abandoned by a British expedition eight decades prior. Remarkably well-preserved in a snow-covered box, the journal is entrusted to Kim Min-jae, another expedition member, for analysis. It becomes apparent that both expeditions were driven by the same objective, and soon, more uncanny parallels between the two begin to emerge.
