Ombis: Alien Invasion

The tranquil village of Metzburgh, once a thriving industrial hub, has seen better days since the downfall of Metzburgh Grain. Teenagers Mark Lowe (Jason John Beebe) and his former girlfriend Lucy Greenheart (Sarah Manzella) find themselves entangled in a romantic dispute when a meteorite unexpectedly crashes into their serene community. Glen (Robert Bozek), a former grain silo worker who became homeless after the mills shut down, discovers the smoldering crash site. Unaware of the potential danger, he approaches too closely and is sprayed with a toxic substance from the meteorite. This chemical, known as Ombis, begins transforming his insides into a slimy matter. As the infection rapidly spreads, Glen stumbles onto the road, where Mark and Lucy encounter him. They rush him to the town’s sole physician, Doctor D (Deborah Manzella). Horrified by what they uncover, Mark and Lucy quickly alert the local Sheriff, Thomas Brackett (Richard Satterwhite).
