In Bucharest, 2009, two decades after the Romanian Revolution, Tavi Ionescu, a pleasant yet somewhat childish man in his late 30s, discovers through his Securitate (Romanian Secret Police) file that he might have a son he was unaware of. Embarking on a covert investigation of his own, Tavi becomes entangled in a complex past that begins to uncover unpleasant secrets, disrupting his life and the lives of those around him.
