The Enchanted Cottage

“The Enchanted Cottage” is a romantic adaptation of the classic play by Sir Arthur Wing Pinero. The story follows Oliver Bradshaw, a high-society individual who becomes disfigured due to war injuries. Seeking solitude, he retreats to a cottage he had initially rented for his honeymoon, avoiding his father, played by Golden Globe Nominee Richard Hatch. Laura Pennington, a reserved and unassuming nurse, is employed to look after Oliver. As they spend time together, they develop romantic feelings and eventually fall in love. After their marriage, they uncover the cottage’s magical ability to bring about transformation.
