A Thin Place

Grace, a young woman struggling with heroin addiction, and Jamie, her doctor battling alcoholism, are trapped in a cycle of addiction and toxic dependency. In a desperate attempt to heal, they consume a potent natural hallucinogen, hoping it will guide them on a spiritual journey toward recovery. However, as they confront the realities of their current and past actions, their path, clouded by self-centeredness and destructive denial, veers away from redemption. Instead, they find themselves in a perilous state from which escape seems impossible, where the truth is even more terrifying than the lies they cling to. A figure from their shared past holds the key to this new form of imprisonment, yet this person shows no urgency to depart.
