Louise Wimmer
In this minimalist debut reminiscent of the Dardenne brothers’ style, the middle-aged protagonist, played by Masiero, is undoubtedly experiencing a rough patch. Louise’s life is a precarious balance between residing in her car and a storage unit, juggling a part-time position as a hotel maid, and striving against all odds to secure public housing. Her daily existence teeters on the brink of homelessness, with just a few Euros standing between her and life on the streets.
