Hoshi mamoru inu

Near a campsite, an abandoned vehicle is found containing the remains of a middle-aged man and a dog, with the latter appearing to have passed away months after the man. This narrative unfolds from the perspective of the devoted dog, exploring the bond between him and his owner. Kyousuke Okutsu, a city hall worker, is tasked with identifying the man to ensure he receives a respectful burial. As Kyousuke delves into the case, he reflects on his own family’s past and the unwavering loyalty of his own dog.
