Je m’appelle Hmmm…

Céline, an 11-year-old girl, encounters Peter, a 40-year-old man. They embark on a “radiant adventure” in his striking red truck. Céline is fleeing from her despairing and abusive father, while Peter is distancing himself from his homeland of England and the sorrowful memories of his deceased wife and daughter. Over the span of a few days and with minimal conversation, Céline experiences genuine moments of childhood joy, freedom, and trust for the first time. Meanwhile, Peter approaches the final days of his life, offering himself like a noble and aging guardian angel to this hurt child.
