Hoodlum & Son

“Hoodlum & Son,” a comedy-crime film released in 2003, is set in the year 1933 and follows the antics of a troublesome ten-year-old named Archie (played by Myles Jeffrey). Archie is left under the care of his inattentive father, Charlie (portrayed by Ted King), who is a hesitant criminal owing a debt to mob leader Benny “The Bomb” Palladino (played by Robert Vaughn). Benny offers Charlie one final opportunity to settle his debt by retrieving money from a rival. However, when Archie tags along with his father to a rival gangster’s speakeasy, a chain of peculiar incidents ensues, forcing them to escape without the cash.
