A desperate cab driver, an enigmatic courier, a motel left deserted for three decades, and a poignant history intertwine to create an unusual narrative. One day, a peculiar passenger named Xiao Ma hires a taxi driver known as Map King, offering him a substantial amount of money to transport him to an old, forsaken motel. The Chun Lei Motel, which mysteriously burned down 30 years ago, has remained untouched since then. Few recall its existence, and it is rarely mentioned. To Xiao Ma’s astonishment, the taxi driver is familiar with the route to the motel. Ah Fang, the motel’s proprietor, once lived there peacefully with her young son and husband. Tragically, seven days after her husband’s untimely death, four robbers arrived at her establishment. By the end of that night, the motel was engulfed in flames, and all those involved disappeared. Three decades after that ill-fated evening, Xiao Ma and the taxi driver arrive at the motel.
