“The New 8-Bit Heroes” originated when childhood drawings of a planned game for the classic Nintendo Entertainment System were unearthed. Granato and his team of creatives embarked on a journey to adapt their talents to fulfill the long-forgotten dream of creating a new game cartridge for the three-decade-old console. Initially conceived as a quirky project about game development, it soon evolved into a deeper exploration of the significance of youthful dreams and the impact of revisiting them in adulthood.
