On the evening of October 30, 2012, a series of brutal attacks and murders took place in several homes. These horrifying incidents were captured on two video cameras. During a relaxed pre-Halloween evening filled with drinks, pranks, and classic horror movies, Amy and Jake record a last-minute video for their school’s annual Halloween fundraiser. However, their plans are disrupted by an unusual group of trick-or-treaters, who also have a video camera. Initially dismissing the interruption as a prank by their friends, Amy and Jake continue with their evening. As bizarre occurrences escalate to dangerous levels, the students soon realize they are facing sinister individuals who are not interested in candy.
