War Story

Lee, an American woman burdened by life’s challenges, finds herself in an Italian city. Her interactions with the hotel staff, constant smoking, and indifference to the phone that won’t stop ringing suggest a simmering unrest within her. Amidst restless sleep, she roams the city streets, capturing images of refugees with her camera, which serves as both a tool of confrontation and a gesture of peace. As she battles her inner turmoil, Lee decides to assist a striking young woman who requires help.
