Vampire Assassin

Martial artist Ron Hall takes the lead in this intense vampire thriller, reminiscent of BLADE. The story follows ambitious police officer Derek (played by Hall), who is haunted by a fear that is particularly inconvenient for his profession. Traumatized by witnessing his father’s murder as a child, Derek has a deep-seated fear of blood. However, when he decides to take justice into his own hands to apprehend the criminal underworld figure Gustoff Slovak, he is compelled to confront his phobia. The mission goes disastrously wrong, resulting in a massacre that leaves Derek as the sole survivor of his team. Derek soon discovers the startling truth that Slovak is, in fact, a vampire. He then teams up with Master Kao, the last descendant of a long line of vampire hunters, who agrees to teach Derek his ancient skills. To defeat Slovak—whose history is disturbingly linked to Derek’s own—Derek must transform into what he despises most: a vampire.
