Escape

A decade following the devastation wrought by the Black Death, a destitute family embarks on a quest for improved living conditions. While traversing a desolate mountain pass, they fall prey to a band of merciless thieves. The sole survivor is 19-year-old Signe, who is captured and taken to the gang’s hideout. There, she quickly discovers that they have a fate more dreadful than death planned for her, prompting her to realize that her only chance lies in escaping.
