Montreal actor and comedian Mike Paterson is facing a serious health challenge. Known for his energetic performances, Mike is determined to conquer his crippling sciatica back pain, which traditional treatments have failed to alleviate. He secures a legal prescription for medical marijuana to manage his chronic pain and embarks on an unusual journey involving a diet rich in marijuana and hemp. Alongside this, he commits to exercise, a vegetarian diet, abstaining from alcohol, and sheer willpower, all in a bid to improve his health and shed 50 pounds before his destination wedding in Mexico, just four months away. As part of his quest, Mike travels to the cannabis hubs of California and Colorado to dive into their thriving ‘edibles’ culture. There, he learns from local chefs, dispensary owners, advocates, and fellow patients about the benefits and workings of cannabis edibles. It turns out that medicine can be quite delicious.
