The Forgotten
In a soon-to-be-demolished London council estate, a father and his 14-year-old son, Tommy, find themselves squatting in an abandoned building. Tommy begins to notice eerie sounds emanating from the sealed-off apartment next door. As he grapples with his father’s declining health and tries to uncover the whereabouts of his mother, the reserved Tommy forms an unexpected bond with Carmen, a bold and savvy girl from the streets who is his complete opposite. Together, they begin to uncover the sinister reality behind the noises coming through Tommy’s wall and the strange occurrences he has been witnessing. When they finally break into the neighboring flat, they find it empty, but the supernatural disturbances intensify. After his father, Mark, is injured and hospitalized, Tommy is left alone in the estate, realizing he’s in over his head. What does this malevolent presence desire? The truth is more horrifying than Tommy could have ever imagined. From the producer of THE BORDERLANDS, this film is a tightly woven, excellently performed, gritty urban supernatural horror.
