Ida Waage, a vibrant and capable Chief Financial Officer at a top-tier law firm, stumbles upon a dubious invoice that leads her to uncover a money laundering scheme connected to the firm’s most significant client, Peer Eggen. When she brings this to the attention of the executive board, they astonishingly betray her, attempting to undermine her with the threat of false allegations.
