Dr. Ravn, a well-regarded physician, is on a desperate quest to find a cure for his terminally ill wife, Vilma. After the hospital ceases her treatment, Ravn secretly continues his efforts. He is assisted by Leif, a corrupt civil defense officer and doomsday prepper who was once his patient. Together, they establish an underground, illegal clinic to treat patients who live off the grid. This clinic funds Ravn’s research to save Vilma, while Leif gains influence among the criminal and paranoid communities outside the welfare system. As Ravn is forced to compromise his ethics more and more, he often finds himself at odds with Leif, yet he remains driven by the hope of saving Vilma. Will love triumph, or will Leif’s apocalyptic vision come to pass?
