“Anna Pihl” is a Danish police drama series created by TV2, featuring Charlotte Munck in the lead role as Anna Pihl, with Peter Mygind and Iben Hjejle playing Mikala. The show spans three seasons, each consisting of 10 episodes.

The narrative centers on Anna Pihl, a police officer stationed at Bellahøj in Copenhagen. She is a divorced mother living with her son, Mikkel, and shares her apartment with Jan, her gay male friend. The series emphasizes personal stories and realism, prioritizing these elements over action and suspense.

Apart from Denmark, “Anna Pihl” has been broadcast in Iceland, Sweden, Norway, and Finland. In Germany, the show was discontinued after the first nine episodes of the initial season due to low viewership, though it was later re-aired in a late-night slot starting in September 2008. The first season also aired in Estonia and on SBS One in Australia. In the USA, Latin America, and Portugal, the series is available on Eurochannel.
