Parlamentet

“Parlamentet” is a satirical panel game show aired on TV4 that humorously mimics Swedish political debates. Debuting in 1999, it is now in its 23rd season. Anders S. Nilsson has been the host since 2004. The current lineup features Babben Larsson, Robin Paulsson, Johan Rheborg, and Johan Glans, with occasional appearances by Kodjo Akolor. The show is a Swedish adaptation of the short-lived British series “If I Ruled the World,” which was a spin-off from “Have I Got News For You,” both created by Hat Trick Productions. The comedians are split into two teams, red and blue, symbolizing traditional political affiliations. The audience votes for the winning team based on their comedic performance.
