The Perfect Soulmate

On the surface, Sarah Miles seems to have an ideal life: her husband is both charming and accomplished, and their daughter Megan is intelligent and lively. Sarah, who once enjoyed a thriving career as a published poet, has paused her professional pursuits to focus on raising Megan and now shares her work through a poetry blog. However, a dark secret hides within the walls of her suburban home—despite his outward charm, Sarah’s husband is actually controlling, manipulative, and abusive. Feeling isolated and eager to break free from her marriage, Sarah is drawn to the attention of a dedicated fan, a scholarly young woman named Lee Maxson.
