After a night of heavy drinking that leaves him with no memory, Teddy wakes up to find that he has brutally assaulted his wife, Molly. As he strives to make amends, Molly faces the difficult choice of whether to forgive him, while her mother, Angela, persistently voices her objections. Meanwhile, Molly’s brother, Gordon, finds himself in deep trouble as he attempts to enlist the help of Howard, a former convict, to murder Teddy.
