Ravn, a well-regarded doctor, is on a desperate quest to find a remedy for his ailing wife, Vilma. After the hospital ceases her treatment, Ravn secretly continues his efforts. He receives assistance from Leif, a corrupt civil defense officer, doomsday prepper, and former patient. Together, they establish an underground, illegal clinic to treat patients who live off the grid. This clinic funds Ravn’s research to find a cure for Vilma, while Leif gains influence among the criminals and survivalists who exist outside the welfare system. As Ravn is forced to compromise his ethics more and more, he often finds himself at odds with Leif, yet he holds onto the hope of saving Vilma. Will love triumph, or will Leif’s vision of societal collapse come to pass?
